While keeping the trademark sound of Victorian Bug, the songs recorded in these sessions include more beats than usual and also replace darkness with ugliness.

Opener "Something is changing the smell in the darkness of the cellar" may be the only exception, with its classic dark drone-based meanderings and vague bodily sounds. After that, "Tourists in Syria / Rain of tear-shaped flames" is pure distortion and freeform drumming, and "Internet browser history postmortem-deletion squad" opens a gate for playful and electronic controlled chaos. Before "No beard, no tattoos, no samurai hair, no one to charm but myself" draws things to an ugly and unpredictable end, "It's only the booze talking" delivers an exercise in bad taste and digital techniques of damaging sound.
